Mario Mandzukic

Besiktas are ready to break the bank in order to lure West Ham target Mario Mandzukic to Turkey this summer.

The Juventus striker is said to be a target for his compatriot Slaven Bilic, the Hammers manager, who is expected to sign a new forward this summer.

But the Croatian is wanted by a number of top clubs across Europe, with his contract up in 2019 and his long-term future at Juve unclear.

And now, according to Sport Mediaset, Besiktas are willing to offer him an annual salary of £6m and promise him that he will become their No.1 striker.

However, it has been suggested that despite the interest from the likes of Besiktas and West Ham, his preference is to sign a contract extension at Juve.
