Arsenal forward Lucas Perez
Sevilla are ready to reignite their interest in Arsenal outsider Lucas Perez.
The 28-year-old was a target for the Spanish club this time last year after he hit 17 goals in 36 La Liga outings for Deportivo La Coruna.
But Arsenal won the race to land him after activating his £17m release clause.
However he has remained on the periphery of the first team since his arrival and started a total of just two Premier League games during his first season at the club.
That lack of regular action has led to rumours that Perez may be on his way out this summer – and Sevilla are back in the hunt.
According to AS, they have not been put off by his quiet season at Arsenal and are ready to make a move to sign him.
After failing to establish himself in the first team, the Gunners are unlikely to stand in the Spaniard’s way should a decent offer come in.
