Arsenal have reportedly on the cusp of agreeing on a deal to sign unsettled Barcelona winger Arda Turan.
The Turkey international could be among the long list of players leaving Camp Nou with new boss Ernesto Valverde planning a major overhaul of his squad.
Arsenal representatives had met up with Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut earlier last month, and according to Turkish Football, the club are in the front seat to recruit the 30-year-old.
Turan is said to have already bought a house in the English capital, and the Gunners appear to have won the race ahead of league rivals Chelsea.
The former Atletico man has largely been a backup to the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, and this has left him a frustrated figure ever since his move to Catalonia.
Turan was particularly not happy following the Copa del Rey triumph last weekend, and it is suggested that he has already made his mind for a fresh challenge in England.
The attacker managed to make just 14 La Liga starts this season, but he still bagged a decent tally of 13 goals and six assists across all competitions.
