Alexis Sanchez has taken a step closer to leaving Arsenal after meeting with Paris Saint-Germain representatives, according to reports in France.
The Chilean international has stated his desire to play Champions League football next season and met with Antero Henrique, the Ligue 1 club’s sporting director, at the Royal Mauceau hotel today.

Sanchez has only one year left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium and has also been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City to reunite with his former boss Pep Guardiola.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has insisted the forward is not for sale this summer despite the possibility of seeing his star player leave on a free transfer in 12 months’ time.
But it would appear PSG have moved to the top of the queue to secure the 28-year-old’s signature as they look to build a squad capable of winning the Champions League.
According to RMC, Sanchez is said to have discussed terms for a four-year contract at the Parc des Princes, with a figure of £45million being mooted as a possible transfer fee.
