If Scottish giants Celtic are to make the Champions League group stage, they must first dispatch Kazakh opponents FC Astana.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have already shown good form this campaign, playing seven games in all competitions and winning six. But the fact they have only conceded one goal, in a 4-1 win over Hearts, will ensure their confidence is high.

And they will also be buoyed by the news striker Leigh Griffiths has declared himself fit for the first leg at Celtic Park.

Unfortunately, defenders Erik Sviatchenko and Dedryck Boyata, midfielder Eboue Kouassi (all knee) and striker Moussa Dembele (hamstring), remain absent.
