Arsenal and Tottenham target Jean-Micheal Seri has shelved all plans to leave Nice until the summer.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who is wanted by the north London rivals, came close to joining Barcelona during the transfer window.
He is already being linked with a January move away from the Ligue 1 side with Arsenal and Spurs still reportedly keen on a deal.
But now the Ivorian says he will not walk out on Nice halfway through the season and is committed to them until at least the end of the campaign.
Seri told Le Figaro: “Regardless of any club asking for me this winter, I won’t leave Nice before June.
“The summer fallout? It will take more than that to change my mind – a top-level footballer can’t afford to continue thinking about that sort of thing.
“It is now history and you need to look to the future and to making history with this club.”
