With Philippe Coutinho’s Liverpool exit to Barcelona looking ever more likely, the Reds are said to be interested in signing Monaco’s Thomas Lemar as his replacement. The 22-year-old was on the radar of Liverpool last summer, as well as Arsenal, but Anfield is reportedly the French starlet’s preferred choice. (Daily Mirror)

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can will NOT leave the Merseyside club in January and is in talks over a new deal, despite interest from Juventus, according to reports in Germany. (Sky Germany)

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants to sign Tottenham left-back Danny Rose, but is facing resistance from the club’s board, who are reportedly still putting their confidence in Luke Shaw. (Daily Mail)
