Could West Ham bring former Southampton striker Graziano Pelle back to the Premier League?

West Ham are in a battle with Dutch club Feyenoord to sign former Southampton striker Graziano Pelle, according to reports

The Italian is currently plying his trade in China for Shandong Luneng after moving there in July 2016.

Before that, Pelle bagged 30 goals for Southampon in two seasons and West Ham want to bring him back to England.

But another of the 32-year-old’s former clubs, Feyenoord, are also working on a deal for him.

According to Tutto Mercato, the Dutch club want to bring Pelle back to the Eredivisie – where he scored 50 goals in two years with Feyenoord before joining Southampton.

West Ham are said to be offering Pelle a two-year deal, but they are struggling to match his salary in China.

Pelle reportedly earns £12million-a-year by playing for Shandong Luneng.
