Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is reported to have reached an agreement to join Real Madrid during this summer’s transfer window.
The Spain international has constantly been linked with the European champions since his botched transfer in the summer of 2015.
According to Don Balon, both United and Los Blancos are said to be locked in talks for weeks with the Spaniard alleged to have agreed personal terms over a summer move.
The shot-stopper has spoken fondly about his time in England but the speculation linking him with Zinedine Zidane‘s side does not appear to cease anytime soon.
His current contract is due to expire at the end of the 2018/19 season, but United are understood to have plans to prolong his stay on a long-term basis.
De Gea has kept exactly a clean sheet in every other game for United this term and he is expected to feature against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
