Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has reportedly urged the club’s hierarchy to pursue a move for compatriot N’Golo Kante at the end of the season. The France international is currently in the ranks of Chelsea, where he remains a crucial player in the centre of the park.
In an interview with BeIN Sports, Mbappe was asked as to which player would strengthen Les Parisiens’ ranks further to which he replied: “Kante, in terms of our needs and also the quality of the player. I think he’s a player who’d suit our team perfectly. I think all the French love N’Golo Kante, and it would be a pleasure to see him again in our league.”
Kante has not had the best of seasons in the Chelsea shirt this term but he nevertheless remains the club’s first-choice at the heart of the midfield. As such, Les Parisiens may not be able to entice the Blues into a sale, considering they are already having to contend with the Financial Fair Play regulations.
