Manchester United are reportedly being fancied to sanction the sale of midfielder Ander Herrera amid interest from Spanish champions Barcelona.
The 28-year-old has been in-and-out of Jose Mourinho‘s setup this campaign and just 12 of his 24 league appearances have come from the starting lineup.
As a result, Herrera is seemingly eyeing a fresh challenge ahead of the summer with Barcelona among the prime contenders for his signature, El Gol Digital claims.
The Spaniard is unlikely to earn regular gametime upon his switch to Barcelona but a reunion with former Athletic Bilbao boss Ernesto Valverde could be something hard to refuse.
Herrera has just 13 months left on his existing deal at Old Trafford and it is reported that Barcelona will lodge a £22m bid which should be sufficient to do business.
The Basque player has been with United since the summer of 2014 and over this time, he has managed to make 158 appearances and score 17 times in the process.
