Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has admitted that he could pursue a switch to Argentine heavyweights Boca Juniors during the summer transfer window.
The Colombia international has been with the Gunners since the summer of 2014 but he has mostly played second fiddle to Petr Cech between the sticks.
According to The Sun, the Gunners are likely to pursue a new shot-stopper prior to the 2018/19 campaign and this may push Ospina through the Emirates exit door with Boca being an option.
“There has always been talk about me joining Boca Juniors. People have spoken about this possibility ever since the time I was still in Colombia,” Opsina is quoted as saying by the outlet.
Ospina has mostly featured in the Cup competitions during his time at Arsenal and he managed just five league appearances in the recently concluded Premier League campaign.
The Colombia is now expected to feature for his nation at the summer World Cup in Russia and a strong showing could earn him the move he desires prior to next season.
