Maurizio Sarri reportedly wants the former Real Madrid man to join him at Stamford Bridge, if he replaces Antonio Conte
Napoli star Jose Callejon has not been in contact with Chelsea, according to the player’s agent.
Callejon, the former Real Madrid star, is one of a number of reported targets for potential new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.
Although Antonio Conte is still in charge at Stamford Bridge, it is widely expected Sarri will be brought in to replace him.
Manuel Garcia Quillon (who represents Callejon) has told an Italian radio station the Blues have not been in contact and revealed just when his client’s £20 million release clause expires.
He told the Naples-based station: “His release clauses expire on June 30.
“However, I can deny having any contact with Chelsea, Villarreal, Valencia and Milan for him.”
Kalidou Koulibaly and Elsie Hysaj are just two other Napoli stars linked with moves to the Premier League.
Sarri is reportedly expected to arrive in west London just as soon as the Blues pay the Serie A side his £4.5 million release clause.
There are also reports to suggest Sarri is also going to live in the five-bedroom house within the grounds of Chelsea’s Cobham training centre – just like doomed predecessor Andre Villas-Boas.
